The story has not yet come to an end



Well, as you might now. The campaign should last for only three weeks. And today we officially did. This blog is reasoned to share our experience in this competition and it has not yet come to an end. 


Over the last weeks, we having been working really hard, at least I did ;). Meetings, strategic changes and close-meeting overseas are just few of the effort we made to make our names and the ones behind it known for the world. 


Anyway, I just had an exam and am not ready to squeeze my head further for Maan-like speeches.

ki||ers hitting it off !!



in our last meeting which was held in Bahrain...

We discovered that our account was hacked and "someone" turned the content on <<< yea right

Anyways, we decided to implement few changes in our last week of the campaign. We ll concentrate on working on the Ads much more.... and change them more frequently,,

despite the fact that our CTR went down in Thursday cuz of this hacking thing.. we managed to get it back to a higher rate....

Facts..
we've reached over a million impressions with thousands of clicks...
our CTR reached up to .20% ...

in the final week of the competition we ll raise our daily budget and try the "expensive" keywords...

Ki||ers strategical decisions!!


we called for an urgent meeting...

the reason was that we noticed the big difference in clicks through arabian ads and english ones. we held the meeting at a convenience place for the group members to make sure that we achieve the maximum productivity. we deleted some of the ad groups.
our major decision was that we changed our trend totally towards arabian adwords.based on the information provided by the reports....
we also decided to stop the placement ads in order to test our theories ;)

we successfully managed to attract more than 960 clicks through thousands of impressions...

ki||ers ...... YES, WE CAN!



after a full of joy break....

we launched our campaigns with different varieties of adword groups..
till this moment we noticed that arabian adwords attract much more clicks than other groups. the obvious reason is that we are targeting the middle east market, which we think that it demands functional softwares that support arabic languages....

facts....
in the first six hours we attract over 140,000 impressions with about 250 clicks...
we are thinking about changing our trend into arabian concentrated adwords..

Ki||ers Loading their Guns!!



April, 23th

Many things have been going on since our last Blog post, meetings, exams, fights :P and the best thing ever,,, The mid term VACATION!!! Mohaned and Maan went to Riyadh, and I'm back to my family at Al-Madinah. :)

We are 99% done with our pre-campaign report, thanx to my group members who did a great job with it. surprisingly we didn't know about the AdWords Strategy part!! but we handled the situation very well, and every thing is OK now.

Working with Google Docs is pretty amazing, we were able to edit the report with each other in real-time!! try it by yourself!! trust me words can't explain <<< my inner Geek :P
so basically we will try to submit the report by tomorrow, so wish us good luck :)

Ki||ers first official meeting



April, 19th ...

we had our first official group meeting to discuss the pre-campaign strategies and to write a report about them ....
this a brief report about the meeting:

the meeting took place at liwan coffe shop on sea view of Al-Khobar city. We did our researches on the the middle east E-Commerce market and its trends. we found out that its a good environment to start an E-Business in M.E. area. then we discussed the marketing strategies that we are going to adopt in our campaign. despite the fact that RAYYAN took of for smoking like a thousand times, we end up with a lot of information about the company(Gillani Inc.).
finally, we put all of our discussions on the paper and prepare the written report. the meeting official time was two hours. but due to minor difficulties in finding information needed, it took an extra hour. thankfully, we finished our pre-campaign strategy report and we are ready to roll :D.

Meeting with the Gillanis

On a peaceful afternoon, we were suppose to meet with the Gillanis but the meeting moved to 1700 as the CEO, Sayed Kamal Gillani, had a meeting in Dammam. So... we felt a bit hungry and we had to get a bite to eat. Maan was already full, so he was whining to get home, who is by the way called "The Captain". Anyway, we went to Steak House, we took him with us, and we had a fine lunch, I am not saying what it is ;).

By the time we finish lunching, we drove to their office in Gulf Tower and called them on the way. We, Me and Rayyan, were feeling a bit dizzy after a nice meal and we could've called off the meeting. Oh yeah .. and I didn't tell you about Rayyan. He wasn't feeling well after his meal so he had to go the rest room and spent sometime there, as Maan and I were doing Steak House's new survey.

Back to the meeting, we meet with the CEO and he gave us a 30 min presentation of Gillani Inc. story of success. (I'll be giving you the short version later). A question was flying in my mind on , almost, every point he said. We asked him some, and he was really cooperative with us.

Anyway, I running later to MGT449 class, I'll be blogging later!
